Sunnybrook Substation Forebay Expansion & Slope Re-stabilization

Project Scope: 

• Excavated and stockpiled ~50,000 m³ for new forebay

• Subrage scarification and re-compaction of 150 mm depth

• Installed 600 mm of thick compacted clay liner

• Installed 150 mm of topsoil with track packing and hyrdoseeding

• Removed and reinstalled 120 m of 1050 concrete pipe

• Supplied and installed outlet control structure c/w valves and sluice gate

• Removed and reinstalled existing outlet control structure on existing forebay

• Relocated 200 m of fibre optic cable and general site clean-up 

• Supply and install ~200 meters of gabion baskets

• Supply and install ~120 meters of slope retention system including re-grading, re-vegetating and miscellaneous ESC material installs
